Challenges are global – So are the solutions!

Thank you all speakers and attendees from global organisations, big companies, SME:s, famous universities, and other important stakeholders for taking part in this global food conference, the first of its kind!

We have had three inspiring days at Lund University in Sweden and at Technical University of Denmark.

A number of high level lectures and fruitful discussions about topics related to the food area were focused during the conference plenaries and sessions. Also how to work with food safety and security around the world were discussed and problematized.

There is much to do and the collaborative work has now begun.

The next GoFood conference will take place in Bologna, Italy, in mid autumn 2018.

The conference GoFood 2017 was planned by DISH, the newly formed Joint Centre of Excellence within Global Food Safety together with collaborators around the world.

DISH is founded by the four universities:

  • National Food Institute – Technical University of Denmark 
  • University of Bologna, Italy
  • Lund University, Sweden
  • The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong

The inaugural conference was held in Hong Kong in February 2016 and the conference in 2017 followed-up on the close collaborations between important global players in the field.
